Legal bases
In the field of environmental acoustics, the legal basis is mainly the LPE and OPB. These are federal provisions, which of course apply throughout Switzerland.
However, in each canton, provisions (decree, ordinance or law) specify how federal legislation is to be applied. It is therefore prudent, if not necessary, to contact the specialised service of the canton in question in order to find out any specificities.
With regard to the acoustics of the building, Art. 32 OPB refers to SIA 181, which contains the applicable provisions.
Fire System SA offers an elegant and efficient solution and thus complies with the new Federal Ordinance on Noise Protection (OPB), which regulates the sound insulation of buildings.
Classification
Sonacoustic is classified in the RF1 fire resistance classes RF1 (A2-s1, d0).
